FEES TO TENANTS FOLLOWING THE 1ST JUNE 2019.
Holding Deposit – One weeks rent is payable on an applicant being accepted to move forwards with a property to rent.
Rent – The agreed rental amount is to be paid by the Tenant under the terms of the contract.
Deposit- A returnable Deposit equal to five weeks rent is payable prior to the commencement of the Tenancy.
Unpaid Rent – Interest at 3% above Bank of England Base Rate chargeable from 14 days after the rent due date.
Utilities – Under the terms of the Tenancy agreement the Tenants are liable to pay the relevant utility bills.
i.e. Council Tax, Gas, Electric, Water, TV License etc.
Amendments to contract – These would be chargeable at £50inc VAT, an example of this would be a pet addendum, an additional person being added to the contract or a change in rent payment date etc.
Early Termination of contract – An early termination of contract would be charged at the reasonable loss of income that the landlord would incur under these circumstances. Please be aware the landlords is not obliged to agree to the early termination of a contract however this would be discussed if proposed by the tenant.
Loss of security items – Any loss of a security item, i.e Keys, fobs, damage to an alarm etc. Can be charged to tenants at the cost of £50inc VAT
However, in the event that a locksmith is required the full cost of the invoice will be charged to the tenant.
