Local spooktacular events – Halloween 2020

Wondering what to do this Halloween with your little ones? With trick or treating put on hold this year, why not make your Halloween as exciting as ever and support these local businesses and events nearby instead! Fear not, there’s lots of spooky goings on this year despite COVID-19!

Horsforth Pick Your Own Pumpkins

Open for pumpkin picking 10-31st October, Horsforth PYO have planted over 37,000 pumpkins this year, made up of 10 different varieties from mini munchkins to jumbo sized and warty, white, striped and of course orange ones.  How will you carve yours?

Horsforth Halloween Spooktacular

Organised by Horsforth Walk of Art, local residents are encouraged to get involved by decorating their houses and gardens and share their photos on the ‘Chase the Rainbow Horsforth’ site.

Trick or Treat at Kirkstall Valley Farm

Almost sold out! Join Kirkstall Valley Farm for some Halloween Trick or Treat family fun on the farm. Come dressed in your costume with a trick ready and hopefully you will leave with lots of treats!

Pudsey Pumpkin Festival

Follow your own trail! Halloween will be different this year due to COVID-19. As a result not every house will be taking part in trick or treating. This year you can find the houses getting involved in Halloween decorating this year with their online map! You can even add your own home to the map to get involved!

Farsley Frights

FARSLEY FRIGHTS is being created to help our village celebrate Halloween safely this year. Farsley Frights is setting up three spooky maps around Farsley – with prizes for best costume and best haunted house!

Rodley Halloween Trail

Join in the family fun for our first ever Rodley Halloween Trail! Following the fun of the rainbow trails earlier this year, we thought we’d go all out and make this year’s Halloween something extra special! No trick or treat? No problem! Proceeds to go to NHS Charities Together, supporting NHS staff and volunteers caring for COVID-19 patients.

Halloween Adventure at Stockeld Park

Head to Stockeld Park this October Half term for some frighteningly good family fun! Come and enjoy the Autumn colours as you explore the Enchanted Forest, keeping a look out for the wicked witches lurking here, there and everywhere, or head into the maze for more Halloween thrills! You can also enjoy our pumpkin picking meadow and every paying child will be invited to pick a FREE pumpkin!

Little Spooktacular Halloween Party

Join ARTventurers for their Little spooktacular half term Halloween class on Friday 30th October in Adel where they will be exploring all things fang-tastic in their unique ARTventurers way, plenty of paint, glitter and creativity! Suitable for ages 18 months to 7 years.

Kids About Tarn Trick or Treat Art & Crafts Event

COVID-19 guidelines might have changed things slightly but there’s still so much fun to be had in Yeadon! 2 hours soft play, arts and crafts for each table, a tasty sharing platter for each table, cordial for everyone, Fancy dress competition with a yearly pass worth £80 up for grabs, lots of spooky music and of course decorations throughout.
